As the forests and swamps of predominantly agrarian eastern Croatia are steadily being replaced by fields and farms, this project explores the spatial repercussions of different forms of agriculture. A massive hydroponic greenhouse is positioned between the Danube tributary and the industrial port, spanning above the rewilded meadow. This creates a closed system, with the greenhouse taking nutrient-filled water from the lakes below and returning it after use. The abandoned industrial equipment of the port is modified and used as a focal point throughout the meadow below, free to be colonised by both animals and humans . This approach wants to question the separation of agriculture and wilderness, built and natural, thus creating a unified system.
