This research was based on the unavoidable influence of time on building materials. The basic premise is based on the fact that natural processes such as erosion and corrosion, as well as the marks that those left behind, don't always have a negative connotation and instead represent an unavoidable transformation of material through time. The assumption is that recognising and guiding those processes can, directly and indirectly, ennoble building materials and their immediate surroundings. The final stage of this experiment was constructing an erosion machine, in which a solid built of gypsum and sand was left to slowly erode through the course of the exhibition.
