The earth berg defines the perimeter, simultaneously serving as a climatic and atmospheric envelope. Green slopes act as the natural environment in which the sports arena is located. The roof, built with PTFE pneumatic tubes, covers the hall, seemingly hovering over the berg. Vertical supports are built as steel diagonals, emphasizing the roof's lightness. The idea is accomplished with the dematerialisation of an architectural object, in which the built and the natural are treated equally. The building thus becomes an extension of the landscape.
